Our client came to us with a brief to renovate their circa 1910 parkside Semi while retaining the history and charm of its Federation-era roots. This involved restoration works to the front part of the house and reworking of the layout to improve flow and connection to the rear terraced garden. Carefully restored ceilings, doors, plasterwork and fireplaces formed an integral part of the interior design which transitioned from old to new with minimal effort. The neutral palette and refined approach to detail of the new part of the house helped establish a foundation of simplicity and restraint desired by the owners.
