The second instalment of The Night Market caters to a larger, more diverse audience and greater volume of foot traffic. With a site almost double in size, the interior concept adapted key elements of the flagship store, and carefully presented two previously separated aesthetics in the one space. The retail element was given a more prominent position at the entrance of the restaurant, displaying ceramic tableware in custom glass cabinets to encourage lasting connection to the brand.

Oxidised copper panelling again lined the kitchen, creating a rich textural quality within a somewhat sterile mall environment. Illustrative banding elements were integrated into the design and played a key role in injecting personality and fun into the space. Furniture and lighting by Michael Young was customised to support the maturing aesthetic in the new location.
